Film Night (The Da Vinci Code) + Post-exam Meal
The end is in sight! Although exams may have just started for you, time flies and in a few weeks' time you'll be enjoying yourselves in the sunshine, chilling out with your friends and enjoying the last days of term. It's never too early to plan for post-exam activities, and we are delighted to announce that we are arranging a film night and post exam meal for you on 16th June (Friday), the last day of Term!
We will be seeing the blockbuster movie - The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou. It's a thriller based on the best selling novel - The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, which is renowned for its dramatic twists and well written storyline, but which has also attracted great public awareness due to the controversial issues raised concerning Christianity.
The Film Night will be comprised of the movie at VUE Cinemas, Grafton Centre, and either a lunch or dinner, depending on the time slot of the movie. The post exam meal will be a great chance to meet up with your friends, both old and new, and to share with them your trials and tribulations this term. It promises to be a fabulous, fun filled experience!
The ticket for the film will be partly subsidized for our members. Further details will be announced soon so look out for them in our emails, and of course, have 16th June unoccupied so as to support our maiden event! And don't see the movie before then!
In the time being, please reply to our president, Kelvin (KC322@cam.ac.uk) on or before 8th June if you are interested to come so that we can have an estimate on the number of tickets needed. Note that we cannot guarantee that you'll get a ticket if you do not reply by then, so don't hesitate and act now!
