CUCS Annual Hong Kong Dinner 2006

You are cordially invited to join us in our Annual Dinner 2006, a traditional and prestigious event which not only acts as a cornerstone whereby the paths of Cambridgenians of all generations cross, but also promises to be a fabulous and enjoyable experience.

This year's Annual Dinner will be held on 2nd September (Saturday) in Regal Hong Kong Hotel, a deluxe five-star Hotel situated in the heart of Causeway Bay. We have arranged a sumptuous 8 Course Chinese Dinner for you (See menu). The Dinner presents a colourful and unique opportunity for one to meet and greet Freshers, new blood to the Society who have yet to embark on the wonderful Cambridge experience, as well as meeting our prestigious Alumni who may indeed shed the light of guidance on your future.

We are delighted and honoured to announce that Dr. The Hon. Sir David Li Kwok-po, GBS, JP will be our guest speaker. Dr Li obtained his LLD in Cambridge, and he has made great contributions towards both the University and Hong Kong since his graduation, him being the organizer of various Cambridge Functions in Hong Kong as testaments to this. He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive for The Bank of East Asia, and a member of the Hong Kong Executive Council and Legislative Council. Dr Li's talk promises to be both inspiring and interesting that shows insight into his fascinating life experiences which are not unlike our own. Do come along and do not miss out on such a valuable opportunity!

To reserve a place, please reply to our Internal Secretary, Alice (NSAL2@cam.ac.uk) on or before 30th August.
