Hi everyone! I am Henry, an economist at Fitzwilliam College. It is my pleasure to serve you
as the president of Chisoc this year. My role is to lead our committee to bring the
highest possible benefits for our members. Cambridge is well known of its high quality in education
but at the same time, there can be lots of fun! I like playing football and winning 11. I also like
music (sing K in particular). For food, I love to go to the Life Van (Though I have not had a chance
to try the mega-mouthful burger. So anyone who is going please feel free to call me... lol).
If you have any questions about life in general in Cambridge, you are very welcomed to talk to me
or any of our committee members. We are always there to listen and help. May I wish you all a
joyful and fruitful year!
Hello everyone!! This is Oscar Chan speaking!! I will to be your
vice-president for CUCS this year, and I look forward to meeting all of you.
I am currently studying Engineering in Trinity College, but that doesn't
mean I only like things like flow diagrams, I also love cooking, watching
anime, facebooking and a whole lot of other stuff (feel free to find me for
a chat or two). As your vice-president, I will be doing more of a supporting
role for the committee as a whole and at the same time I would love to be
the one that you approach for any affairs regarding CUCS. I hope that all of
you will have LOTS of fun in our activities in the coming year.
Hey everyone, I am Victor Lau, your treasurer of CUCS this year. I am doing economics
in St. John's College so this should suit pretty well with money-side stuff. As a
treasurer, my duty is to deal with society finance which means that I will be your biological
cash register. I believe I am recognised as the person who constantly produces 'broken' quotes.
So please pay on time, or else I will bombard you with quotes! Hope I can be a serve you well as
the 'money man' in CUCS.
Hiya! I am Laura Lai, a first year engineer from Queens' college. I am delighted to be elected
as the Internal Secretary of CUCS to serve you all. Throughout this year, you will be receiving
exciting e-mails from me about all the fun events that our committee wishes to bring you. Just
to introduce myself to you all, I enjoy dancing, travelling and facebooking. Also, I am probably
best known for my love towards star-shaped stuff. Please feel free to drop me an e-mail anytime
if you have any queries or even just for a chat
Hey there! I'm Summie Yeung, External Secretary of CUCS (2008-09). I'm studying Physical Natural
Sciences at Downing College. Apart from my passion for musical activities, I'm a little bit of a
facebook addict (just a LITTLE), but I need to clarify that I'm not antisocial at all! As a very
outgoing and talkative person, I love organising gatherings. I shall aim to involve all members at
CUCS with a series of exciting and unforgettable events this year! And please feel free to contact
me if you have any problems - I'll be the most happy to help.
Hello Everyone, I am Kenneth Chau (most of the people call me Ken Chau, for simplicity may be?) I
am a Phy NatSci at Queens', it is my pleasure to be your Publicity Officer this year. Feel free to
contact me on anything about "The Reflection" or the website, and please contact me if you would
like to write an article for "The Reflection", I would be most delighted! Other than these I am also
actively involved in sports and music events, and Joshua Fellowship (a Christian fellowship)! Hope to see lots
of you around!
Hi! I am Eric Lai, or, if you like, P Lai. I am doing engineering at Peterhouse. This year I would be
your Sports Secretary in CUCS. I play badminton, volleyball, basketball, snooker, table tennis..... as
well as NBA live and Pro Evolution Soccer! Trailer of Life, Sainsbury and Golden House are my favorite
places while Chi Soc, sports and free text are my incentive to work in Cambridge! I really look forward
to seeing you all and let's enjoy the coming fruitful year!
