Cambridge University Canoe Club

Email Lists

The club also has several e-mail lists which can be used to contact the relevant group of people. To join or to be removed from any of the lists e-mail our publicity officer, Louise.

soc-canoeing at lists.cam.ac.uk is the address for the whole club list used to inform members what's going on. Anyone can send to it but the list is moderated. If appropriate your e-mail will be forwarded on to the list and will appear as if it's come direct from you.

soc-canoeing-com at lists.cam.ac.uk will always get hold of the current committee.

soc-canoeing-coaches at lists.cam.ac.uk goes to everyone who coaches in the club. A good list for getting advice or technical information.

soc-canoeing-polo at lists.cam.ac.uk is everyone who plays or is interested in polo. Often used to arrange training times, travel arrangements and socials, as well as discuss the finer points of the game!

soc-canoeing-trips at lists.cam.ac.uk is for people interested in going on short informal trips, such as to Nene or Nottingham. A useful list for paddlers who are aiming to get their 4 star award.

soc-canoeing-vac at lists.cam.ac.uk is for people wanting to arrange paddling, or drinking, during vacations.

soc-canoeing-discuss at lists.cam.ac.uk is an open discussion list for paddlers to express their views on anything vaguely canoeing related. Expect a lot of junk mail!

soc-canoeing-interested at lists.cam.ac.uk is a list for non-members interested in hearing about club activities.

cucanoe-nene at srcf.ucam.org is a list for planning weekly Tuesday evening sessions to Nene Whitewater Centre.

Also, if you are a past member wanting to keep in touch with what is happening, mail Louise to be added to the Alumni list.
