Apologies for Absence and Notifications of Any Other Buisiness were given.

The Minutes of the Last Meeting were read and the following Matters Arose:

 Society Plans

 Punt race

To be held on Saturday 12th June; "Bring and Share" picnic on the grass by the Mill from 1pm, followed by the race at 2pm. Full details to be discussed nearer the time.

 Ceilidh

It was agreed that the prospective ecumenical ceilidh was to be an SCC event.

A date/time/venue were agreed - Friday 14th May, 8pm, either Fisher House or Parkside. Kelly to speak to Fisher House chaplains about using the building.

Kelly has found contact details for bands; Clare to find out if they are available and how much they would charge.

Another meeting to be held soon to make further arrangements.

All reps to promote the event to their societies.

 Publicity

Steven Cooper to revise and combine this term the SCC's Church and Society Guides.
Chris to tell people where to find them online

Kelly to contact the St Thomas Aquinas discussion groups, and Carys to contact Christians in Science, about including their events in the Guide;

Geoff to contact CUSU about the SCC directory listing, Freshers' Fair, etc; also to find out from Josh what CUSU have about including 'religious information' in the CUSU fresher pack. Steven to get completed Guide to Geoff to show to CUSU.

Attempts to be made to (re-)contact as many groups as possible:

Other ideas for revitalising the SCC were considered, such as opening SCC meetings to individuals, and revisiting the idea of a Squash or other freshers' event. To be discussed more at a later meeting.
