Weekly Prayer meetings have lapsed; it has been suggested that instead the SCC organises a termly service. It was noted that:
An event was also proposed to replace the SCC Freshers' Fair, which has failed to attract many freshers but has provided a welcome forum for members of Christian societies to meet each other. It was raised that such an event should if possible include the predominant University Christian society, viz CICCU. A discussion of how to advance the SCC/CICCU position followed. Two approaches were outlined:

It had been previously noted that the OWW Religions of the World fair had gone well. Barbara Moss represented Christianity on the discussion panel.
Steven Cooper has requested that the SCC fix a date for the 2005 Unity Service, and consider inviting the Archbishop of Canterbury to speak; Steven to be asked to enquire whether the Archbishop would be available on any date during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Provisionally fixed for Tuesday 20th April 2004, 6:30pm, at 232 Cherry Hinton Road (Kelly's house). Kelly kindly offered to cook dinner.
