This was held on 10th October 2002 at the University of Warwick. As most members of our squad concentrated on the Green Dragon shoot on the day after the team score of 2001 did not reflect our real strength. Surprisingly we still came third overall.
Good performances came from Diana Wood and David Hull. Diana improved her personal best by more than 70 points now breaking 500 and picked up the Ladies' bronze medal. David also exceeded 500 in his first tournament after a six year shooting break. Our novices achieved some very promising results in their first competition ever coming fifth as a team. The Mars bar went to Cambridge Archer Peter Tovey for getting the closest score to 222.
Oxford fielded a strong team and consequently came first. As expected, Birmingham dominated the novice event beating Warwick by more than 150 points. Full results are available on the BUTTS Website.
