The 53rd Varsity Match 2002.
The 53rd Varsity match was held on the Backs of St John's College, Cambridge on the 18th of May. The
weather wasn't ideal with cold temperatures and a blustery wind. This year the gents shot the usual Albion round
(3 dozen arrows at each of 80, 60 and 50 yards with imperial scoring) while the ladies shot a Windsor
(3 dozen arrows at each of 60, 50 and 40 yards). The top four archers from each university counted as the
representative teams. In the conditions Cambridge(3032) just clinched the victory over Oxford(3003).
