The 51st Varsity Match 2000.
The 51st Varsity match was held on John's Backs on the 20th of May. Conditions
were near perfect with sunshine and very little wind.
As usual, the round shot was an albion (3 dozen arrows at each of 80,
60 and 50 yards with imperial scoring) and the scores are given in full below.
The top four archers from each university count for the team, giving a
win to Cambridge by 3423 to 3093, with what we believe to be the highest
team score ever shot in the Varsity match. See the photos here.
