Socialising is a very important part of life on an Air Squadron. We meet once a week during term time at our town headquarters, near central Cambridge. This "town night" consists of a meal and a short presentation and then the Squadron retires to our own bar.

In addition to these weekly meetings there are various annual formal occasions (Annual Dinner, Christmas Draw, Summer Ball, Leavers' Dinner) as well as various other, more regular, social occasions including Formal Halls at Cambridge Colleges. All of this of course in in addition to any socialising done after sporting events or on adventure training expeditions.

The Squadron also goes away as a unit during the Easter vacation to a nearby RAF Station or Camp for a one week "team building" camp. The primary aim of this camp is to foster the team spirit that is pervasive through all of the squadron's activities. During this week many activities are available, including paintballing, leadership tasks, sports, and a great many other activities.
