From CUANZ
G'day! Kia Ora!
Welcome to the Cambridge University Australia and New Zealand Society (CUANZ) home page. CUANZ provides an informal social network for Aussies and Kiwis living in Cambridge.
We run a range of events and pass on information that is of particular interest to Aussies and Kiwis living abroad. CUANZ currently has about 400 members both from within and outside the university. Membership of the Society is open to anyone.
Events include BBQs, video nights, sporting fixtures, punt trips and formal dinners. Our upcoming events are listed below - other pages on this site provide answers to some frequently asked questions relevant to Kiwis and Aussies living in Cambridge. Let us know of anything that needs updating!
- Contact the email list managers or the committee. (both addresses need ".ac.uk" appended)
Our warm thanks to McKinsey & Company for their generosity in supporting CUANZ.

Kiwi? Join Kea!
If you hail from beautiful New Zealand, Kea may be for you. Here's how they describe themselves:
"Kea is a global community of people who help each other achieve great things all over the world because of the common passion they share for New Zealand.
It is a well known fact that many 'Kiwis' seek experiences beyond New Zealand's shores at some point in their lives. Over the years, New Zealanders have earned a reputation for being among the world's greatest travellers, adventurers and achievers. Today, it's estimated that approximately 24% of New Zealand's highly skilled workforce now resides 'offshore' - a figure that is higher than any other developed nation.
Kea is turning this phenomenon into a source of national competitive advantage, by tapping this wealth of international knowledge and expertise and making New Zealand the most globally connected nation on earth.
Kea now connects with more than 21,000 Kiwis and other 'friends of New Zealand' living in over 174 countries across the globe.
Join Kea today and be connected with other talented, driven people from all over the world who share a passion for New Zealand."
Membership is free, it's a great source of information on news and events relevant to Kiwis living over here, and it can be an excellent networking tool. Go to www.keanewzealand.com to learn more!
Our Website
Thanks to the Student Run Computing Facility (SRCF) sysadmins for their tireless and comprehensive ongoing volunteer work in keeping the server we use up and running. Thanks to the MediaWiki team for developing and maintaining such high quality open source software.
Feedback is welcome regarding any aspect of the site: its operation, its design, or desired priorities for fixing things (e.g. the photo galleries could be easier to flip through).
