About the AJS:
The AJS works to provide an interface between Japanese and non-Japanese students in Cambridge, as well as promoting Japanese culture and links with Japan-related organisations. We do this through regular social events such as pub meets, karaoke nights, eating out and sushi events, seminars, exhibition/museum trips and so on. We also seek to develop and maintain ties with other Anglo-Japanese societies around the UK, in particular the Oxford Japan Society and the UK Japan Society. Membership & the Mailing List Membership is £5 for a year, or £10 for life. You don't need to pay to join us at the pub meetings, however members get cheaper prices for the ticketed events. You'll also get a shiny new AJS membership card! The main means of organisation is not this website, but the society email list. Email the Secretary to join the list (you don't have to be a member). We usually send out one email a week about upcoming events by Tuesday evening at the latest. Check out the links above to discover more about the society and our events. Anyone who would like any relevant articles, pictures, or links posted here, or if there are any problems with the site, please contact the Webmaster. |
