Cambridge University Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag is a battle gaming society! We crush our foes and steal their flags- using of course a range of absurd weaponry! Then we change teams and crush our allies! We play a range of games, the rules of which can be found here. After tireless hours of battling, we traditionally find a pub or pizza place to celebrate our glorious victory!

CTF matches will happen throughout the year, over all of Cambridge, from the open plains of Queens' backs to the tyrannous back alleys of Mount pleasant and wherever else the Crispy Ambulance sees fit.

Some weaponry will always be provided but you're welcome and encouraged to bring your own. For a list of suitable weapons, please click here. The weapons used depend primarily on the weather - any time super soakers would not be prohibitively chilling, they are legal, otherwise Winter Weaponry will be declared, which consists largely of thrown items, and rubber-band-guns.

Who can play? / How to join

The society isn't just for members of the University, it is for everyone! You don't need to be some kind of water fighting professional or even know which end of a gun is the nozzle. All you need to have is a keen interest in having a laugh. Feel free to come along to any of our sessions.
