Drinks and cakes will be served at that time, however the party with 'moon
cakes' will be postponed about a week.

The 22nd Election Committee of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (Cambridge) is calling for president candidate(s) for the 23rd CSSA-Cam. The President of CSSA-Cam is elected in the annual meeting within all the members of CSSA-Cam. The candidate should meet the following criteria:

1.  Member of CSSA-Cam
2.  A native Chinese above 18 (inclusive)
3.  Student or scholar in Cambridge
4.  Till the election day, should have been studying or working in Cambridge for at least one year.
5.  From the election day, will stay in Cambridge studying or working for at least one year.
6.  Have experience of serving similar organizations or societies in UK.

There will be a Beijing Zhongguancun Science Center Colloquia on July 13th, Thursday, 19:00-21:00, at Hughes Hall, pavilion room. At the colloquia, delegates from the Center will introduce a number of policies, which will be very useful for our students and scholars. 2月8日， 剑桥中国学联春节晚会在剑桥大学音乐学院的音乐厅徐徐拉开帷幕。
      晚上8时左 右，身着节日盛装的观众陆续到场。大家脸上洋溢着节日的笑容，新朋故友互致新春问候。中国驻英使馆教育处寄来了热情洋溢的祝贺信。出席晚会的贵宾还有剑桥 大学原校长Anne Lonsdale博士，在剑桥大学工作的部分中国学者，剑桥大学部分院系主任、教授，剑桥大学部分学院的院长、院士，英 国皇家科学院院士，剑桥大学部分学生社团代表、全英及地方中国学联代表共100余人 应邀出席了晚会。整个剧场座无虚席。
    晚会 完全由剑桥大学学生策划和编导，汤珂和韩玄为总策划 和总编导，袁 园 王子岚、王 霖以及Chris Percy主持，作 为剑桥大学博士生，他们也参与了整场晚会的策划和编导。晚会一开始，宣读了中国驻英使馆教育处的致辞。使馆向与会观众祝贺新春，祝大家身体。健康、万事如 意，并鼓励留英学子为中国的经济文化建设加倍努力、建功立业。剑桥中国学联主席林涛代表东道主向大家祝贺新春，并对驻英使馆教育处、剑桥大学以及所有会员 的鼎力支持表示感谢
    晚会 以“喜 庆、祥和、爱国、向上”为主 题，分成《迎春》、《赞春》、《送春》三部分，节目有歌曲、舞蹈、相声、戏曲、器乐演奏、幽默剧、诗朗诵等。晚会准备工作从去年10月开 始，所有节目都经过征集、筛选和彩排，因此个个精彩。晚会在欢庆锣鼓和舞狮中拉开了帷幕。
