Poll on Top-up Fees Motion

Liberal Youth is putting a motion to its conference about whether to continue its opposition to top-up fees, which cost students up to £3145 per year. If opposition to top-up fees is dropped, funding that the Lib Dems have dedicated to scrapping them could be reallocated.

We have recently added two new pages to the site - "Events" and "Support Us".
The "Events" page contains information about forthcoming speakers and other events.
The "Support Us" page contains a form where you can register your interest in CSLD. It would be great if you could fill it in, even if you just want to find out more about us.
The "People" page has also been updated, and now includes contact e-mail addresses for the committee, so if you have any questions, please do get in touch.

Welcome to the New Look CSLD Website!

Following the election of a new committee, this site is being extensively revised and updated.
I've put the (still incomplete) new version up, because it's still a lot better than the old one, so more stuff should be coming very soon.

Cambridge Student Liberal Democrats, the student branch of the Liberal Democrats for students at both Cambridge University and the Anglia Ruskin University campus in Cambridge. It is the successor to the Cambridge University Liberal Club (founded in 1885) and the Cambridge University Social Democrats (founded in 1981) which merged on the creation of the Lib Dems in 1988.
