This fine tradition will continue as a major fund-raising event of the year. The Chinese New Year Ball is the flagship event of the Cambridge University Chinese New Year Trust. Every year we host a spectacular night of dance, music, culture and of course great Chinese food! A ture highlight of lent term, the ball attracts hundreds of Cambridge University students of all backgrounds, bringing together both Asian and non-Asian students in celebration of the Lunar New Year. It is of course also a great fundraising event, with our highly successful 2007 ball, Mulan Rouge, raising over £3,000.
