Our Mission: Can you help us?

What we do. Many people take education for granted in the developed world. Nonetheless, there are hundreds of millions of children in China still living in dire poverty. Education, to them, is a luxury.

As the fund-raising arm of a registered charity (CNY Trust 1107782), CUCNY Trust endeavours to give a glimpse of education to these children. Despite a history of only five years, we have managed to make significant contributions to the underprivileged children in China by organising various fund-raising events. With the support of businesses and organisations, combined with our unique agreement with Project Hope, we have been able to dictate precisely how these funds are used to aid the children in China.

Past achievements

 
• Raised RMB 200,000 (about £13,500) to build the CNY Trust Da Miao Primary School in Hebei Province, China.  (The school was completed in mid 2005 and enrolment started in September 2005.  More information on the School is available upon request.)
• Offered scholarships to enable thirty children to go to school.
• Raised £9850 in total in Oct 2006 CNY Trust Charity Run, and 2007 Annual Chinese New Year Ball.

This year, we are attempting to raise £15,500, our most ambitious fundraising target to date. You can help us by attending our events!
