CLIO Committee 2008

Co-President
Robin Francis - Homerton
Robin oversees all CLIO matters and co-ordinates and supports the rest of the committee. He chairs speaker events, is jointly responsible with the Vice-President for sponsorship and external relationships with other organisations.
Co-President & Webmaster
Tamsyn Hyatt - Peterhouse
Tamsyn oversees all CLIO matters and co-ordinates and supports the rest of the committee. She chairs speaker events, is jointly responsible with the Vice-President for sponsorship and external relationships with other organisations.
Vice President & External Officer
Charlotte Tan - Hughes Hall
Charlotte assists the Co-Presidents in the general direction of the society, advises them, and deputises in their absence. As the society’s External Officer she works with college history societies and other university societies and takes joint responsibility with the President for arranging sponsorship.
Treasurer
Ben Wilson-Pratt - Peterhouse
Ben is responsible for managing the CLIO accounts. He works with the Co-Presidents and Vice-President to obtain sponsorship for the society, and with the Social Secretary in managing the budget for social events.
Secretary
Sonia Urbancikova - New Hall
Sonia is in charge of the day-to-day running of the society. She helps with the general administration of the society and for keeping the minutes of society meetings.
Membership Secretary
Philip Burns - Peterhouse
Philip is responsible for maintaining the CLIO mailing list and membership database and to provide new members with their membership cards. He is also responsible for organising the CLIO stall in the Freshers' Week Societies' Fayre.
Social Secretary
Tanwen Berrington - Peterhouse
Tanwen plans and co-ordinates CLIO-run social events including the May Week Garden Party, the annual CLIO Feast, History Society Formals and 'Jazz and Cocktails' evening.
Publicity Officer
Laura Newitt - Trinity Hall
The Publicity Officer's job is maximise publicity for the society's events. Laura is reponsible for designing and putting up posters, updating the CLIO noticeboard and managing the University wide 'CLIO Reps' network
Officer Without Portfolio
Adrian Leonard - Hughes Hall
Adrian has a multifarious role, assisting with all aspects of the society’s general running. He takes an active part in arranging speaker and social events, and helps with CLIO’s publicity.

Our Senior Treasurer is Professor Rosamond McKitterick, of Newnham College.

Our honorary members include Professor Peter Hennessy, Dr David Starkey, Professor Paul Kennedy, Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch, Professor Blair Worden, Professor Robert Evans, Professor Roger Scruton, Professor Michael Vickers and Professor Jeremy Black.
