The Middle Combination Room (MCR) at Clare is the home of around 300 people who are studying for Masters or Doctorates in the Arts and Sciences. There is an equivalent JCR (the UCS) for those studying for undergraduate degrees, and an SCR for the established academics who run the college.
On Friday 12th June at 7pm in the MCR, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held. The AGM will be voting whether to ratify the annual budget and an amended constitution.
If you wish to propose a motion at the AGM, please contact the Secretary, Robin McCaig. Any motions must be received by 7pm on Wednesday 10 June for inclusion in the agenda.

The MCR punts, Silence of the Cam and MCArk, have returned from their winter hiding place, and can once again be found at their regular berth next to Clare Bridge.
MCR members may book a punt for up to three hours per member. The booking folder and keys are in the MCR computer room, and the poles and cushions are in the alleyway behind the chapel.
The MCR pays for registration and upkeep of our punts. In the last two years we have paid a considerable amount for both of our punts to be restored, so please treat them nicely!
The MCR is managed by an executive committee of the following characters. They can be contacted individually or as a committee:
