Who are we?

We are the Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union (CICCU), a group made up of students from across the Cambridge colleges who believe the good news found in the Bible about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, and the promise of new life he offers us, is too good not to share.

CICCU exists to make Jesus Christ known to Cambridge University students.

We do this in a lot of ways:

  • We run talks and events for people interested in hearing and investigating the staggering claims that Christianity makes about life, meaning and purpose.
  • We equip and envision Christian students to share the amazing message of the gospel within friendships and communities by uniting as one group to be trained and inspired by some of the best speakers and evangelists in the world.
  • We form outward-looking communities of Christians which aim to reflect the love of Jesus within colleges, faculties and other societies.

If you want to find out more, a good first step would be to get in touch with your college reps.

We are not a church, so all of our members are involved in a very wide variety of local churches in Cambridge. Instead, we seek to unite Christian students who share the same God and the same goal – to make Jesus Christ known to every student in Cambridge!

Christianity

‘But what about you,’ he asked, ‘Who do you say I am?’ — Luke 9:20

The claims of Christianity hinge upon Jesus Christ. It is simply trust in the good news about him found in the Bible. The Christians of CICCU base their lives on this good news and are convinced it’s so great that we want to share it with the whole of Cambridge.
