SUMMARY OF MINUTES FROM MEETING ON 29/11/05

  1. Cinecam Constitution
    Finalised remaining points for new Constitution.
     
  2. New Committee Positions
    Kiera Jamison [New Hall] elected Publicity Officer.
    Lydia Bell [Darwin] elected Website Manager.
    Brian Lavery [King's] elected Deputy Festival Manager.
    Position of Secretary is still vacant. Lucia is filling this role for the moment.
     
  3. Plans for Next Term
    Confirmed that a weekly screening and discussion evening would be held at New Hall every Tuesday, commencing on 24th January. Agreed that we would aim to screen as many shorts as possible, including ones made by Cinecam members, and also to invite suggestions for screenings from the Cinecam members.
    A basic camera operation talk was proposed for Thursday 26 January, to be held at the English Faculty before 7pm.
     
  4. Scriptwriting Competition
    Decided that the Committee should be responsible for choosing the director for the Cinecam film made from the winning script.
     
  5. Festival Arrangements
    12th and 13th March are confirmed as the dates for the Festival.
    A Q&A session on 22nd February was proposed. Brian will look into booking a room at King's.
    Two judges out of three are now confirmed.
     
  6. Buying Equipment
    Meg will investigate sound equipment.
    Henry will look at what is available in Hong Kong.
    Anthony Hinton will find out about inexpensive lighting equipment for us.
     
  7. Mailings to the List
    Decided that all mailings will be sent out to the list by Kiera at 6pm on Sundays. Sections will be itemised at the beginning of the e-mail.
