SUMMARY OF MINUTES FROM MEETING ON 20/02/06

- Festival
§ Lydia has contacted Phillip at Future Shorts re the
possibility of their sponsoring the Festival. They have responded that they may be able
to provide prizes and send a judge but can't offer financial sponsorship. Lydia will try
to follow this up with Phillip over the next few days. Lucia has also been contacted by
Future Shorts.
§ Decided that we will charge non-members £2 and members
nothing for admission to Vicki's and Josh's talks. The Apple talk will be free
to members and non-members alike.
§ The next round of posters will be distributed at the
committee meeting on 27th. These should be up by the 1st of March. Amy and Lydia will
pigeonhole posters to the Festival Volunteers after the meeting.
§ Committee and Volunteers will collect flyers from King's
Bar on the 5th of March at 5pm and pigeonhole them in their allocated Colleges as soon as
possible.
- Tuesday Screenings
§ Lucia, Jenny and Meg will attend the screening on
Tuesday 21st. They will take a selection of DVDs and allow the audience to decide which
is screened.
§ Tuesday 28th will be 'Bratpack Night', with a screening
of 'Heathers'.
- Brickhouse Collaboration
Brickhouse are only willing to enter into the collaboration on condition that we buy
a high-range camera. Therefore, until Cinecam has raised enough money to make this possible
immediately that Brickhouse make a financial contribution, the collaboration is on hold.
- Committee Meetings
From now on, committee meetings will be held at 6pm on Mondays in King's Bar.
