SUMMARY OF MINUTES FROM MEETING ON 13/02/06

- Tuesday Night Screenings
§ Henry and Amy will attend the screening. Henry will collect
the DVD and someone will check Kiera's laptop for compatibility with our cable.
§ The possibility was raised of buying a DVD player for future
screenings, to save the trouble of always having to borrow and bring someone's laptop.
- Festival
§ Restaurants No. 1 King's Parade is a
possibility but we still need to check with the boss; Fitzbillies is not possible; Varsity
could be approached.
§ Publicity Posters with submission deadlines
should be put up by 20th February; fliers should be put out a few days before the Festival.
We will meet provisionally at 2pm on Saturday in King's Bar for distribution of flyers.
§ Talks We are waiting to hear back from Apple
with specifics about their talk, to be held on 10th March. We also still need to confirm a
venue for Josh's talk (9th March, 8pm) -
there is a possibility of holding it at Emmanuel, Brian is investigating King's and Henry is
trying Art History.
- Cinecam Film
§ Antony Hinton will direct and Rahul Singhal will produce.
§ Naoki, the writer, has been interviewed and this will be in
Varsity on Friday. Kiera will advertise it on the mailing list.
