Our first event this term is going to be a formal at St Catharine's, the first CUCES formal there in the last few years!

In addition to sending your cheque, please email Jaroslav Zak if you'd like to opt for the veggie option.

We'll meet at 7pm in the college bar. Come in through Porters' Lodge and turn right. When you reach the library (glass, ugly), turn left and then you'll see it. Ask anyone walking around, Catz is a small college so it's not hard to find.

The formal itself starts at 7:30pm sharp. If you arrive after 7:20 or don't find us in the bar, you should go directly to the hall, which is on the main court. As you walk in through the plodge it's in the top right hand corner, next to the chapel. Again, people will know if you ask.

Other details: One bottle per person is allowed. No corkage. Gown is compulsory for Catz students and other people usually wear it. But there are always a few, especially girls, without one. Strictly no casual wear. Catz is quite strict, you are not allowed to take pictures until the gong goes off at the end and you're not allowed to shout.
