As a follow-up to the screening of „The Unbearable Lightness of Being“, we will meet again on Friday, 9th of November at 19:30 in Meeting Room 3, Cripps Court, Magdalene College, to talk about our reactions to the story told in the film, the characters, the relationships between them, the choices they make, the way in which history enters their lifes, their attitudes to sex, politics and emigration. We shall also touch upon the issues of Kundera's novel itself and the relation between the novel and its film adaptation.
