The story of the bonfire is one of a heroic fight with the weather, which certainly did not indulge us. First of all, it forced us to move the event from the date we have planned it for, the 16th of June, to the 19th. Afterwards, well… it scared of many of the keen.

Only a few have made it to the meeting point where we have decided to follow through with the plan. Thankfully, we were saved sudden downpours and survived occasional drizzles. We have not stayed for too long, but the sausage has still been grilled. To cut long story short it was small, but it was a success.

We hope for a better weather next time.
