Prague Architecture within the European Context

Date: Tuesday 10 May 2005
Venue: New Hall (Long Room)

5–6pm

A distinguished Czech art and architecture historian Doc. PhDr. Jiri T. Kotalik CSc gave a lecture on the architectural heritage of Prague. Kotalik was formerly dean of Fine Arts Faculty and director of the National Heritage Institute. He is an author and coauthor of many exhibitions, projects, and publications, (10 Centuries of Architecture, Pictures from Hisotry of Czech Architecture, to name only few), as well as a popular pedagogue. His knowledge of Prague art, history and architecture is overwhelming, so do come if there is anything you'd like to find out about the city, or Czech art and architecture in general.
