I hereby sign this petition to put pressure on the bursar of my college to reduce college's carbon footprint in three ways,
- Actively work to reduce energy wastage in college, through the encouragement of staff and students and through good site maintenance.
- To support the purchase of electricity from renewable energy suppliers.
- To commit to look into the production of renewable energy on site.
I hereby sign this petition to put pressure on the university Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice chancellor for planning and resources to reduce the university's carbon footprint by supporting,
- A plan to reduce energy wastage,
- RENEWABLE ENERGY, not fossil fuels
- RENEWABLE ENERGY, not hydro power*
- RENEWABLE ENERGY from a company that invests in new technologies and therefore has a positive impact on the energy situation,
- The production of a sizable amount of RENEWABLE ENERGY on site,
- A permanent commitment to RENEWABLE ENERGY
