I hereby sign this petition to put pressure on the bursar of my college to reduce college's carbon footprint in three ways,

  1. Actively work to reduce energy wastage in college, through the encouragement of staff and students and through good site maintenance.
  2. To support the purchase of electricity from renewable energy suppliers.
  3. To commit to look into the production of renewable energy on site.

I hereby sign this petition to put pressure on the university Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice chancellor for planning and resources to reduce the university's carbon footprint by supporting,

  1. A plan to reduce energy wastage,
  2. RENEWABLE ENERGY, not fossil fuels
  3. RENEWABLE ENERGY, not hydro power*
  4. RENEWABLE ENERGY from a company that invests in new technologies and therefore has a positive impact on the energy situation,
  5. The production of a sizable amount of RENEWABLE ENERGY on site,
  6. A permanent commitment to RENEWABLE ENERGY
