friday lunch time meeting
At 1pm on Fridays we meet in one of the seminar rooms in the clinical school to pray, read the bible and think about what it means to be a Christian and a doctor.
carol service
The highlight of the CMF calendar, nay the clinical school calendar, is the carol service. There are usually readings by staff and students form the clinical school, singing by the vocal chords (clinical school choir) and a thought provoking talk by someone medical.
conference
Every year we venture to Derbyshire to meet with other cmf groups from all over the country. Last year we had a great time with everything from early morning prayer sessions to snow ball fights. It was really good to take a couple of days out to invite God into our work and to hear from some doctors who are doing pretty inspirational work. This year (2010) the conference is from the 12th to the 14th of February.
other meetings
There will also be a number of socials, some talks by interesting doctors and maybe even an official CMF course.
