For the amateur player, here is a brief description of the game. The aim is hit a small white airborne feathery thing whilst running around in a rectangular box delimited by 3 white lines and a net. An added difficulty is the form of the so-called "partner" who will also be running around in the said box and occasionally hit you with his/her racquet.
The Corpus Team meet twice a week at the Leys' School for practice sessions. For Michaelmas term 2009, this will be from 4-6 pm on Saturdays and from 7.15-8.15 pm on Thursdays and racquets are provided. Membership to the team is free and open to all members of College. Just turn up at the practice sesssions and contact one of the captains if you wish to be added to the mailing list for matches.
