Caius Boat Club (CBC) is the rowing club of Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge.

Approximately 150 students row for CBC each year, making it one of the largest boat clubs on the River Cam. Every member of Gonville and Caius College is welcome to row for CBC with levels of commitment ranging from our First Eights amongst the top boats in the university to those just looking for a lot of fun and great team spirit. Every Michaelmas term about 50 new novice rowers and coxes learn to row, with many going on to compete at higher levels.

Caius Boat Club has enjoyed remarkable success over the last few years taking 18 headships since 1998. The Caius 1st men's VIII currently hold the May Bumps Headship. The 2nd men's VIII are the highest of all 2nd VIIIs in the Mays. The 1st women's VIII lie in 4th place in the Lent Bumps and 5th place in the May Bumps. In 2006 Caius Boat Club earned the right to erect a Clock Tower and a Weather Vane on top of our boathouse for winning five consecutive Lents Headships and five consecutive Mays Headships.

Although the Bumps are the main priority of CBC, we also compete in the Fairbairns Cup in Michaelmas term, the Head of the River Race in March, and at Women's Henley and the Henley Royal Regatta in June/July.

Our boathouse boasts excellent gym and fitness equipment available for use at any time to any of our members. There are plans to renovate and expand our boathouse, including erecting our Clock Tower and Weather Vane, during the summer of 2007.
