Meets

The prices of meets will hover around £20/£25 pounds for Sat/Sun ('1day') meets and £28 pounds for Fri/Sun ('weekend') meets. These prices will include transport, food, accommodation and gear rental.

You will need to bring some extra money for food (or some actual food) whilst travelling to and for the meet (£10 should cover it), and for sundries during the weekend, as we sometimes go to the pub after a trip.

The club's Meet Accounting Policy gives full details of the costs.

Membership

Insurance fees for 2011/2012 are £10. The breakdown is as follows: £2 for the last term in 2011 and £8 for the period of January-December 2012.

If you need insurance for the period of January-December 2012, the insurance fee is £8.

Club membership is £6 for students and needs to be paid at the same time as insurance.

Equipment

CUCC supplies all the equipment needed for caving. You can carry on renting CUCC gear for as long as you need but at some point you will want to buy your own so you get stuff that actually fits properly. This is usually done in stages as the whole lot is quite expensive: wellies, undersuit, oversuit, kneepads. (£120) SRT kit, (£180) Helmet and Light (£120). Bargains can be found on Ebay.
