Casa Del Funk have been funking the house since 1999, mixing old-fashioned seventies funk with latin rhythms to create a delectable groove.

Recent gigs have included Corpus, St. Ed's, Darwin and Wolfson May Balls. Previous years have seen us at Selwyn Snowball and Churchill Spring Ball. During the barmy season known as "May Week", we funked Caius, Jesus, St. John's, Magdalene, Pembroke, Peterhouse and Sidney Sussex May Balls and St. John's June Event. We've also been known to play at Clare Cellars, Catz Bar and at MCR events in Emma, Magdalene, Newnham and Pembroke.

Following the Spring Ball at Churchill, readers of Varsity were informed that "at midnight, Casa del Funk took over and proved worthy of their reputation as a high quality disco-funk band - the dance floor was packed,everyone was loving it" Varsity (22/02/02)

We were even recommended as "premium purveyors of fine rhythms" in the pre-may week edition of The Cambridge Student (15/06/00)
