1. Week 7-Farewell party (with BIG dinner starting at 6pm!)

Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Time flies, and the end of another academic year is approaching. This Wednesday, we'll be having our last official JF gathering for the academic year - Farewell Party. Before we set off our separate journeys soon after this, let us all join together to wowrship, to share, to pray and to have some great FUN. To give us more time for the feast before the main program, dinner will start at 6pm this wednesday.

Leavers, you are particularly invited to join the party, and it would be nice if some of you (or all) can share with us some of your feelings towards Joshua Fellowship. On behalf of the fellowship, I'd also like to send our blessings to each of the leavers. May the familiar verse above be your encouragement always. Remember, God will always walk beside us, and even carry us through the dark valleys in life!

*** DINNER ***
Karson and Kenneth's groups will be cooking the BIG dinner this week. Anyone who can come to help with cooking and/or washing up, please let Karson (kss32@cam.ac.uk) or Kenneth (kkhn3@cam.ac.uk) know and arrive at Henry Martyn Hall at 4.30pm.

Please e-mail me (wkjs3@cam.ac.uk) if you are coming for dinner this week so we can prepare enough food for everyone.

2. Informal gathering - BBQ (14/6)

Apart from the official JF gathering on Wednesday, we will be having an informal gathering *BBQ* on this coming Thursday (14/6), utilizing the lovely weather these days. Details are as follow:

Date: 14/6/2007 (this Thursday)
Time: 3pm - 6pm
Venue: Man Yi's house at Cranmer road, next to Corpus Christi playing field off Grange road. (please ask me if you don't know where exactly it is)
Activity: BBQ, outdoor games, sports games etc.
(There is a tennis court, squash court, table tennis tables, a swimming pool, a football pitch and a nice garden!)

Further details will be announced in the fellowship on Wednesday. Please let me know (wkjs3@cam.ac.uk) if you are interested in coming to this informal gathering so we car prepare the food accordingly. Look forward to seeing you all and having fun with you!!

For those who still haven't finished their exams. Work hard and good luck, we'll carry on to pray for you.

Week 6 - Cell-group Sharing (Shortened meeting)

Dear brothers and sisters,

1. Week 6: Cell-group Sharing (shortened meeting)
2. Prayer request from Norway Missionaries

Matthew 7:33
"Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well".

When exams are diring us crazy, let's carry on to seek God first. It is His promise that He will give us everything we need as long as we seek Him first.

-------------------------------------
1. Week 6: Cell-group Sharing (shortened meeting)

We will be having our final shortened meeting this Wednesday in Joshua, when we shall have some quality cell time. Come and share your worries, your joy or anything with your cell mates, and then we can pray for each other in Christ.

***********************
Dinner will be served at 6.30pm as usual. Just as last week, dinner will be provided by our church fellow with fairly precise amount of food. If you haven't signed up for it on the seperate form, and you still want to come for dinner, please let me know (wkjs3@cam.ac.uk) and we'll try to organise something for you, though we cannot guarantee anything. Thanks very much.
