Dear brothers and sisters,

Proverbs 9:10
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
Exam is approaching and I'm sure everyone is stressed and trying to spend as much time on revision as possible. However, as stated in the above verse, our WISDOM come from God! So let's not dwell ourselves purely in revision, but spend more quality time with God, who will give us extra wisdom in our studies.
The Cambridge Chinese Christian Church are going to hold two special events in the coming weekend, and I strongly encourage each brothers and sisters to attend. Details are as follow:

1."A day to quiet down and reflect" -- Annual Church Prayer & Devotional Meeting
Date: 5th May, Sat (tomorrow!)
Venue: St Columbas’ Church (Downing Street)
Schedule:
6:30-7:30 pm Prayer Meeting
7:30-8:00 pm Dinner (free)
8:15-9:30 pm Devotional Talk (by Rev Andrew Hwang, Advisor of CCCC)
[The talk will be conducted in Mandarin and Cantonese]

Date: 6th May, Sun
Venue: St Columbas' Church (Downing Street)
Schedule:
2:00-4:00 pm Service
[include vedio clips of testimonies of brothers and sisters from CCCC]
4:00-6:00 pm Dinner for Free in St Columbas' Church

3. Norway Missionary Care
Matthews: 28:19
"Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
Although we ourselves cannot GO to other nations to spread the Gospel, we can pray for the missionary couples in Norway! Here are their prayer requests for May (See attached if you can't read Chinese). Please also find attached the newsletter from them.

二零零七年五月份挪威斯達灣格宣教工場的代禱事項：
甲：感恩
1. 為到四月五至七日的家庭營感謝主。神實在的看顧，無處不在。參加者反應極之好，家的氣氛很濃郁。未信主的佔五分三。他們對神、對教會的心敞開了。當中的男士渴望教會有男人天地，讓他們定期相聚
2. 四月二十八日的水禮，神的榮耀在彰顯。一位弟兄和四位姊妹的見證，引起積極回嚮
3. 青少年提摩太團有穩定的進展
乙：代禱
1. 求主的國降臨在斯達灣格，求主的旨意行在斯達灣格，如同行在天上
2. 求主感動五位新葡努力步步跟隨主
3. 求主加兩位青少年領袖力量，一位面對IB課程畢業考試的壓力，另一位是面對大學功課、與家人的關係和時間分配的壓力
4. 五月開始推行讀經運動，將分三階段進行。求主鼓勵信徒參加
5. 五月十七至二十日在瑞典南部舉行北歐聯合同工退修會，講員是COCM宣教工場主任岑偉農牧師。國樑會參加，求主讓國樑有美好得著
6. 一位姊妹的兩歲半幼子，對花生極度敏感。在家庭營完結前兩小時他誤吞糖衣花生，感謝神，最後得醫治。但姊妹卻受驚過度，精神備受刺激，出現抑鬱情緒，現正接受治療，進展良好。請禱告記念，求主叫他痊癒
7. 另一位姊妹與丈夫相處出現困難，情緒不穩定，求主憐憫和安慰
8. 請繼續記念國樑在香港的四姐夫，他患了胰臟癌，三月三十日在香港瑪麗醫院成功切除；求主看顧醫治，又保守他與主的關係，不受影響
9. 請為暑期各項活動禱告。有北歐聯合夏令營，斯達灣格青少年福音週、大旅行和兒童聖經班
10. 為到我倆的靈命和健康禱告，使我們謙卑，更近恩主，廣傳福音
