[Joshua Fellowship] Prayer request and EVERGOLD
Dear brothers and Sisters,

Hi everyone!! The time has finally come for me to send out my first e-mail to everyone as the new JF secretary! First, I hope everyone has been enjoying (and working hard in) the Easter Break. I don't want to remind you, but term is starting next week, and we will be having our normal JF meeting every wednesday from next Wed (25/04/07). There will be further reminder as the time approaches.

1. Prayer Requests from Norway Missonaries
If you haven't noticed, JF has been supporting (through financing, writing cards and praying) a couple of missonaries who work in Norway. Here is their prayer requests for April. (please refer to the attachment if you cannot read Chinese on Herems)
二零零七年四月份挪威斯達灣格宣教工場的代禱事項：
甲：感恩
1. 有一位婦女決志信主
2. 青少年提摩太團有新的少年人加入
3. 今期洗禮現有五位決定接受水禮
乙：代禱
1. 求主的國降臨在斯達灣格，求主的旨意行在斯達灣格，如同行在天上
2. 求主感動信徒努力步步跟隨主
3. 懇求主為教會預備多一位司琴，三年來只有聖嬰一位
4. 求主加兩位青少年領袖力量，一位面對IB課程畢業考試的壓力，另一位是面對大學功課和時間分配的壓力
5. 請紀念四月五至七日的復活節家庭營，現有四十六人參加。求主保守講員COCM丁建玲宣教士的健康和信息，參加的華僑得到屬天的福份
6. 四月二十八日是今年水禮的日子，求主保守參加水禮慕道班的華僑的信心，願神的榮耀彰顯
7. 五月開始推行讀經運動，將分三階段進行。求主鼓勵信徒參加
8. 五月十七至二十日在瑞典南部舉行北歐聯合同工退修會，講員是COCM宣教工場主任岑偉農牧師，求主賜下信息並感動信徒領袖出席
9. 求主加國樑及聖嬰侍奉主的力量，並有健康的體魄，活潑的靈命
10. 請記念國樑在香港的四姐夫，三月下旬驗出患了胰臟癌，三月三十日在香港瑪麗醫院進行砌除手術；花了十九小時完成。現時在深切治療部觀察。求主看顧醫治，又保守他與主的關係，不受影響

2. A relay message from CUCDS: EVERGOLD
Dearest JF members,
The production 'Evergold' is FINALLY approaching, and we'd like to update you on our progress! It's been truly amazing how God has carried us through the last few weeks. From setting up the society to securing funding, and from auditioning to the wonderful stage cast and crew we have today, He has truly been faithful in every single way! It is therefore all to Him and His glory that we attribute this production to :)
Here are the details:
Dates: 27/28 April
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Queens Building, Emmanuel College
Language: Cantonese (with English and Simplified Chinese subtitles) Free
Admission with tickets
And now, we would like to recruit your help in the most exciting stage of this production! Firstly, book yourselves tickets on either of the days by emailing infoCUCDS@gmail.com. We can house up to 150 people per day, and please indicate clearly on your emails the number of tickets you wish to book.
Secondly, bring as many non-Christian friends you have along with you as possible! With the CICCU Main Event still fresh in people's minds, this will be an excellent chance to follow-up! After the play, we're also planning to invite a church pastor to share the Gospel with people.
Thirdly and most importantly, please continue to pray for us. It is truly our passion and vision to see God reach out to the lost through this production. So please take some time to pray, pray for His guiding hand from now to the production itself, and pray for the multitudes in Cambridge to come to know our wonderful Saviour!
"In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction." 2 Timothy 4:1-2
