Week 5: Talk on BGR
Dearest brothers and sisters,
1. Talk on BGR
-------------------------
1. Talk on BGR
1 Cor 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Happy Chinese New Year! So how did you spend your Chinese New Year and your Valentine's Day last week? For many of us, we celebrated it together in the love of our fellow brothers and sisters - and yet, still, you feel there is something missing in your life? Or perhaps there should be a bit more to what you now already have?
For those who haven't realised by now, every year Joshua Fellowship holds a "talk" on BGR - that is, boy-girl relationships. And trust me, it's not boring, it's not formal, but truly inspiring! Whether you're single or in a relationship, Pastor Leo will tell you all you need to know about relationships and answer all your questions!
Feel free to submit any questions to Leo either in person on Wednesday, or by email to Mimi (mkw104@student.anglia.ac.uk)or Leo (khl36@cam.ac.uk).
(p.s. yes, you can ask for your friends! =P)
*** DINNER ***
Hilda's group will be cooking dinner this week. Anyone who can come to help with cooking and/or washing up, please let Hilda (htht2@cam.ac.uk) know and arrive at Henry Martyn Hall at 5:15pm.
PLEASE email jfdinner@yahoo.co.uk if
- you are NOT on the Lent term default list but would like to have dinner
- you are on the default list but cannot make dinner this week
- you are going to be late for dinner and wish to have dinner reserved for you
- you wish to add your name to the default list
Please kindly do the above so that we can prepare enough food for everybody.
Dinner starts 6:30pm, and those who did NOT email and arrive later than 6:45pm may NOT be guaranteed dinner.
-------------------------
We will be collecting an offering this week, please prepare your hearts accordingly.
In Christ,
Janis
On behalf of Joshua Fellowship
