Week 7 - Bible Study: Elijah (Amended Ver.)
Dearest brothers and sisters,
1. Bible Study on Elijah
2. JF Winter Camp 2007
-------------------------
1. Bible Study on Elijah
I Kings 17:14 " For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD gives rain on the land.' "
Still remember Elijah's story with the poor widow, or his victorious defeat over the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel? Let us refresh our memories of Elijah's faith in this week's bible study. We will focus our efforts in studying passages in the bible about Elijah, focusing in particular 1 Kings 17-18.
The following are links to the bible passage:
English (New International Version):-

Chinese (Traditional Chinese Union Version):-

Please do spend some time reading the passage again before our meeting on wednesday, and we will learn more about Elijah together in the form of thoughts exchange and sharing =) Guaranteed to be inspiring!
*** DINNER ***
Michelle's group will be cooking dinner this week. Anyone who can come to help with cooking and/or washing up, please let Michelle (hwmt2@cam.ac.uk) know and arrive at Henry Martyn Hall at 5:15pm.
PLEASE email jfdinner@yahoo.co.uk if
- you are NOT on the Michaelmas term default list but would like to have dinner
- you are on the default list but cannot make dinner this week
- you are going to be late for dinner and wish to have dinner reserved for you
- you wish to add your name to the default list
Again please kindly do the above so that we can prepare enough food for everybody. No food can be guaranteed if you did not request food to be saved for you if you come late.
