Cambridge Consultations on Faith, Humanity and the Future is an exciting 'public square' initiative involving the University, its colleges and public outreach projects (including the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme), the City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Theological Federation. The Consultations will provide an extended two year programme of lectures, debates and events which focus on the important issues facing our world: in each of six terms beginning in Spring 2008, there will be an intense three-day period which will bring together international and national speakers, religious leaders, academics, opinion formers and politicians whose ideas will be debated and discussed amongst a range of local and regional constituencies and, via the Internet, globally.

Each term will address a different theme using public lectures, debates, workshops and outreach projects to explore the role of the faith traditions as sources and catalysts for accountable discussion, moral commitment and practical resolve to shape the world in which we live.
