Name: |
Lord Michael Caransay
|
Role: |
Hereditary lord of most of
the land in the village |
Description: |
Lord Caransay takes a fatherly interest in affairs of his
villagers, attending church at Christmas, Harvest and Easter as any
decent landowner should. He occasionally turns up for Parish
Council meetings, where he has sensible things to say and a
gravitas which means they carry almost as much weight as he thinks
they should. He may not quite have realised the feudal system is no
longer in force, but is nonetheless respected and liked in the
village. |
