The Assassins' Guild: Rule changes for this game
The following rules are different to those in recent games:
- Some minor edits and tweaks to wordings.
- You may not enter the rooms of non-players through their windows.
- The rules about dead players passing information have been made stricter.
- Concert halls have been included in the rule on audotoria being out of bounds.
- Trains, buses, aeroplanes, train stations and airports are out of bounds.
- Killing incompetent or corrupt police does not count for competence.
- Water weapons may be used to make bang-kills, regardless of an area's water status.
- The area of corridor immediately outside a full water room is full water by default.
- Players may not poison drinks where it may be interpreted as drink spiking.
- "Exciting" musical greetings cards have been added.
- Snowballs may no longer be used as grenades.
- A reminder about being careful with respect to security forces and the public has been added to the conduct section.
- Players in shared rooms are advised to warn their roommates that they are playing.
- It is now explicitly stated that play is not limited to within 5 miles of Great St Mary's.
- A statement that the object of the game is for everyone to have fun has been added.
- It is emphasised that you should attempt to reach an agreement about the events in a disputed incident at its scene
(although you should not be afraid to ask the Umpire for clarification on the rules, should you disagree on that).
