Michaelmas 98 Duel

It was cold and dry (at least before the fight...). Under the instructions of Death Incarnate, the 4 vicious murderers were spread out and started off. Jon hid by the path as Misfire casually strolled along it, but the veteran was unfazed by the ambush and merely changed his path to meet up with his Tit Hall Mafia associate, known as the Purple Cola Bottle. These two waited at the bottom of the garden stairs and well-clear of trouble. Wunhunglow was hiding unseen at the top of these stairs. As the Tit Hall Mafia began to move up the steps, Jon approached them from the East, hoping I'd be able to sneak up behind them. But But Charlie came back down the steps and saw him. After a violent fire exchange (I mean violent,Misfire and Purple Cola bottle had no less than 1 heavy and 4 medium calibre guns with them at the time, and Jon had medium calibre and numerous hand-grenades...) Jon retreated from the might and wrath of the Tit Hall Two, into a defendable gap in the hedgerow, but by now, the mobile Kien "Wunhunglow" Hoang was already behind the hedge and blew his head off from about 3 metres away with medium calibre. Kien then vanished.

The Tit Hall two returned to the grass at the bottom of the stairs, from which they carried out several forays. During one of these, Kien suddenly appeared from nowhere and stole an unattended xp-35 submachinegun from them, which was much cheered by the spectators. Kien vanished again. The Tit Hall Two went round the columns at the back of the court, but then Kien sneaked out of the other side of the court and took up position in the bushes behind the Tit Hall two's favourite patch of grass. When they returned, cursing Kien for his disappearance, they sat on the lawn with kien less than 20 metres behind them... They looked casual, but at the first move from Kien they suddenly were running at him with all guns blazing. But he gave them the slip in the woody bit, by hiding behind the ridge and sprinting back to the court shortly before the Tit Hall Two emerged behind the ridge, only to bemusedly find Kien wasn't there. They then searched the gardens thoroughly and were able to conclude Kien was in the court itself. But where?

The first sign of Kien was 2 well-aimed grenades from a high balcony, but the veteran mafiosi weren't off guard despite their lax external appearence, and jumped clear. Attempts to extradict Kien from his B block fortress were futile, although Misfire did go in with foamgun, machinegun and shield, resulting in a violent if inconclusive confrontation.

So the combat zone was shrunk just to the cental court itself. Kien fought superbly, avoiding darts and bullets well. Purple cola Bottle nearly lost his legs to a grenade, but jumped over it, opening his legs to let it go by. Despite being surrounded, Kien pushed back the other two for a full twenty minutes, even after losing an arm (he then pumped his gun with his mouth). Purple Cola bottle eventually also lost an arm, but then, as Kien's main gun ran out of ammunition, Misfire connected the fatal blow with the poison-dart gun.

Then, very nobly, the Tit Hall two separated themselves and started again, armed with identical medium calibre. After much good movement, George "Misfire" Savva was shot in the head. Simultaneously, Charlie "the Purple Cola Bottle" Baylis was shot in the upper thigh. Although he lived to be proclaimed the winner, he decided to die shortly after from loss of blood
