What kind of stash can I get?
The main efforts of the ASNC stash reintroduction movement have been focused on ASNC-related shirts featuring designs inspired by day to day ASNaC life, lectures and classes. But that's not all there is! Every now and then you might find that we are offering other stash-y products, such as currently pretty ASNC mugs (black sparta mugs with a yellow ASNC Society logo on them) which you can get for £5 at ASNC Lunch (see here). These are bulk ordered and will be sold until we run out of stock. We are also currently working on introducing ties.
Do you have proper Society ties?
Not yet, but we are working on that and you may soon be able to pre-order - watch this space!
You mentioned shirts - where or how do I get one?
Simply click here. This link will take you to our Stash Shop (see below).
A Stash Shop? What is this thing?
We thought it would be great if we could have a variety of designs and products on offer to help cater to as many different tastes as possible. Also, we thought that having just one navy hoodie with a logo on it (or a shirt in the same style) would be a bit dull. We have therefore opened our very own little online shop from where you can buy not only shirts, hoodies and other attire but also a number of miscellaneous items (such as bags). The best thing about it is that you can order whenever you want and whatever you want - we don't have to order in bulk so that you can choose individually what you want and order it from the shop.
What designs are currently available?

ASNC Society LogoThis should be pretty self-explanatory. |

I Love ASNCAn interpretation of the classic "I (heart) <enterplacehere>" design featuring letters inspired by ASNC manuscript letter forms and (vaguely) insular-style illuminations. Brownie points if you can identify the script the individual letter forms belong to. No Brownie points for pointing out imperfections though. |

Man of ASNCThe first part of the 3-part series of designs based on the ASNC logo, based on the Man (symbol of Matthew) found in the Book of Durrow. The originally empty fields on his body have been adorned with the ASNC letters, which have been designed to match the script used in the Book of Durrow itself. |

Traditional RaidingSecond in the series of ASNC logo interpretations, this brand stamp inspired design features the Gokstad ship. |

ASNC WisdomA pretty Anglo-Saxon drinking horn is here combined with ASNC life philosophy in alliterative poetry who could ask for more any errors of grammar or otherwise are there because Cædmon or maybe it was a modern scholar after all who first composed these lines probably followed their advice far too often and was therefore drunk while writing or maybe a later editor was drunk while copying or maybe the original manuscript was damaged and the editor had to fill in the gaps trying to follow the original as closely as possible without paying any attention to his knowledge of what the grammar should be also theres no punctuation because who needs punctuation anyway |

What would Byrhtnoð do?Ask yourself this question every time you make a decision, and find out where it leads you! (Also please just ignore that Byrhtnoð and the Sutton Hoo helmet aren't exactly contemporary.) |

CNUTThis is an old favourite, finally brought back to you! If you haven't already noticed, it's a play on the 'fcuk' logo. |
I really like one of these designs but none of the products that it's on, what can I do?
Go to the this overview of products that spreadshirt is currently offering and choose the product that you want the design to appear on. Make sure your chosen product comes in either navy, dark red or dark green (since these are the ASNC colours) and that the design you'd like on it can be printed on it (i.e. anything with a black outline will not go well on navy!). Then email the Stash Officer, stating the name and colour of product, what design you'd like to have on it and where you'd like the design to be printed (i.e. for shirts front/back/chest/etc.) and if it's both possible (not all designs can go on all products) and a reasonable request (i.e. something that other people would potentially buy as well) it will be added to the shop.
Can I suggest new designs/design ideas?
Of course! Actually, please feel encouraged to do so - especially if you have a Celtic-themed idea. Just send your ideas (or finished designs) to the Stash Officer. If you want to make a design yourself, it would be a good idea to consult with the Stash Officer first to find out what you should keep in mind to ensure that the design can actually be printed.
